We all know how important our skin is, after all we only get one face right? Let's just say i've found a brand without any harsh chemicals, oils or fillers. Suitable for everyone including the most sensitive skinned gals, vegetarians and vegans oh and without the hefty price tag...
I often find the cheaper the skin care the less beneficial they are for my or anyones skin, often containing mineral oils, parabens, fillers to bulk their products and animal ingredients which is another problem in itself for vegetarians or vegans. However Good Things is a brand which contains non of that, it's a completely natural brand founded and created by Alice Hart-Davis which if you didn't know is an award winning beauty writer and young skin expert who created the brand to simply make the most of our skin without the need for harsh chemicals.
Their ingredients list has already blew many a high-street and even a few higher end skin care brands completely out the water. Another plus side to this brand (the list really is endless) the ingredients they do use are mostly made up of 'super fruits' to benefit certain skin troubles, such as dryness, sensitivity and pigmentation problems. You can find more information on the Good things website which is another good read up about the brand.
I found the fresh start creamy cleanser with extracts of grape and pomegranate to be a little heavy scented on first use simply down to the super fruit/natural fruit extracts which even though natural could still irritate some skins. It's a slightly thinner than my usual cleanser and is perfect for my morning cleanse when my skin doesn't need as much as of heavy or deep clean so it's a nice little refresh for the morning. I usually pair the cleanser with those ever so famous Primark flannels and it's a perfect morning step in my routine.
The blackhead exfoliator with extracts of liquorice and papaya is a slightly blue toned gel based with salt like grains running through. I didn't have high hopes for this exfoliator simply for its consistency as most of the time i'm used to harsh gritty formulas which seem to irritate more than exfoliate. I found this a lot more gentle and still banished a lot of my blackhead's on first application. I find this perfect for everyday use paired with my toner to ensure my blackhead's stay at bay.
Overall I find both the products amazing value for money and reassuring to know such an affordable brand is able to produce such high quality products which are not only 100% natural but completely beneficial for your skin.
Have you tried anything from Good Things?
