Satchel-The Cambridge satchel company
Black Pinafore- Asos
First thing’s first
how gorgeous is this pastel bag? As you should know I’m very fond of my current
Cambridge satchel and all things pastel but this definitely is on my ‘to
purchase list’ the quality of these bags is what makes them different to any
bags on the market along with their amazing colour and size choice so there’s
really one to suit and match anyone. The colour of this is always big this time
of year and isn’t usually a colour I’d wear in clothing so accessories are a
perfect choice for me for this season and many more.
Now cream isn’t
usually my colour and tends to wash me out however after purchasing and doing a
little DIY for my very own ‘charity shop mom jeans’ which simply involved me, Tesco’s
own bleach and a sewing machine I decided I’d need some more simple tops to
accompany these (outfit post coming soon) This textured sheer lace and very ‘soft’ peplum
style t-shirt is perfect for more casual days and adds a little to a more
simple jeans and t shirt outfit with its slight sheer fabric, key hole detailing and the bonus of soft peplum detail which will flatter anyone
with a bigger chest.
Another pastel I hear?
having jumped on the bowler hat bandwagon late last year i haven't got the wear I thought
I would from my black and blue one due to them being a little to harsh on my complexion and my already Addams family wardrobe however I think the colour is perfect for
softening my usual all black outfits and giving them more of a feminine feel
for the summer and could also be kept for the upcoming winter months for a more
vintage feel.
Next up this very pat
butcher 80’s style hair accessory which I think will give me that effortless ‘I
put a lot of effort in to my hair’ kinda’ look in the summer months for when my
hairs a little frizzy and all over the place and even to be attached to the
collar of my shirts to give a little more of masculine look to any outfit. This ones from Asos however i'm sure theirs a lot cheaper on the high street!
On to my favourite part
of this wish list, these oxblood Dr. Marten’s loafers are the perfect summer accessory
to really give a punch to your outfits, arguably not summery at all but that’s definitely
the look I’m usually going for and the perfect accompaniment to any summer
dress with some killer sunglasses and messy hair.
Finally, the most
out of my comfort zone piece, a dress. I’m not one for dresses or pleated
skirts due to my small waist big hip problem in that dresses tend to make me a look a
little bigger however I’ve kept coming back to this particular pinafore and it's the perfect simple outfit for all occasions including interviews, events and night’s out with its
simple yet flattering design of simple soft pleated skirt and stretch cotton.
