Tutti Frutti-Raspberry pie-Sorbet and Wild Watermelon.

So Im going to put this out there, Revlon is by far my favourite high street lipstick brand and these past few months we've seen cheek and lip combo's, Crayola meets affordable chubby stick lip stains and of course, the stars of the show.… LIP BUTTERS! These launched late 2012 and I must say I'm a sucker for a good lip balm, and theres probably not a day I don't slather on my Calmex (cherry of course) for some extra moisture but a lip balm with a lip stick pigment and look? right up my street!
I'm going to be honest, I wasn't sold when I took my first plunge in to revlon lip butter scene, a bit wary of a glossy balmy shiny coloured lip however after many swatches of colours, I'm now on my fourth with high hopes for a growing collection.
First on the bunch being, 'raspberry pie' one of the darker choices and definitely more pigmented, with a rebel from MAC meets a soft barbie pink shimmer, this colour just didn't do it for me. They are very thick and slightly gloopy when left so I have decided to dab this within the middle of my lips and blend out with my finger, TADA.
'Wild watermelon' is up next which is one of Revlons new summer/spring shades, This is by far the perfect red with soft pink undertones with no added shimmer and simple dose of gloss, I love it for its simplicity, just a swipe or two over the lips and no mirror application or liner needed and definitely right for anyone who isn't fully convinced on matte or satin lip textures.
'Sorbet' which is another of there new summer shades is a perfect pink with a slight bit of 'raspberry pie' to it without the shimmer and a little more pink toned, I was surprised by the pigmentation of this one in particular and is definitely a beautiful pink toned colour for all skin tones!
Finally, my personal favourite 'tutti frutti' a perfect summer/spring orange (post due soon) with a soft subtle shine a gorgeous Essie 'bright tights' esque feel about it with one swipe, possibly the staple and the only lipstick on my lips all week!
I'm actually shocked how pigmented and moisturising these lip butters really are, I find them slightly thicker than usual lip balms and sticks and do prefer to dab with my fingers rather than apply straight from the bullet but what works for some doesn't always work for others!

The collection contains all colours from soft pinks, bright neons, beiges and browns, perfect for all skin tones!
Have you tried any Revlon lip butters?
